+ Before

A brief consultation will reveal the best type of peel for you based on your skin type and skin concerns. After agreeing on the best treatment plan, you will sign a consent form and we will discuss risks and benefits.

+ While you're here

The face will be cleansed and prepped. The peel will be applied with mild-moderate tingling and warmth. Your skin may appear slightly red directly after and there may be a yellow tint to the skin if retinoic acid is applied. This should subside within a few hours.

+ After

Redness and occasional flushing may last up to 5 days. Your face will feel tight and dry starting the day after your peel. The peeling process usually starts on day 2-3 and persists through day 7 following peel application. Resist the urge to pick or peel your skin-- you may use scissors to gently trim peeling skin. Exfoliating or scrubbing can irritate your new baby skin. Use a gentle cleanser, hydrating moisturizers, and sunscreen during the peeling process. You may resume your regular skin care regimen at day 6 or 7.
