chemical peels

what is it?

The VI Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel that uses a blend of acids, retinol, and other ingredients to exfoliate and resurface the skin, addressing concerns like acne, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines. It penetrates deeper than superficial peels, reaching into the dermis, stimulating collagen production and promoting a more even skin tone and texture.

The face will be cleansed and prepped. The peel will be applied with mild-moderate tingling and warmth. Your skin may appear slightly red directly after and there may be a yellow tint to the skin if retinoic acid is applied. This should subside within a few hours.

pre & post care

pre care

A brief consultation will reveal the best type of peel for you based on your skin type and skin concerns. After agreeing on the best treatment plan, you will sign a consent form and we will discuss risks and benefits.

post care

Redness and occasional flushing may last up to 5 days. Your face will feel tight and dry starting the day after your peel. The peeling process usually starts on day 2-3 and persists through day 7 following peel application. Resist the urge to pick or peel your skin-- you may use scissors to gently trim peeling skin. Exfoliating or scrubbing can irritate your new baby skin. Use a gentle cleanser, hydrating moisturizers, and sunscreen during the peeling process. You may resume your regular skin care regimen at day 6 or 7.

A small probe is used to vaporize and dry the affected area, resulting in a thin crust that will harden and peel off in 3–15 days. Many clients have compared the sensation to a brief sting that quickly dissipates when the probe is lifted, giving a pain rating of 1–3 on a scale of 0–10. moxi

what is it?

MOXI comfortably delivers non-ablative laser energy to correct the initial signs of sun damage and aging—no matter the season or skin type-for a glowing and clear complexion. Perfect for year-round prevention and maintenance of pigmentation, fine lines, and overall rejuvenation with minimal social downtime.

while you're here

A topical numbing cream might be applied to the treatment area to minimize discomfort. Moxi relies on fractional non-ablative laser technology. This means it delivers laser energy to create microscopic zones within the targeted area of your skin."Non-ablative" means it doesn't vaporize the surface of your skin, making it less harsh. The micro-injuries created by the laser trigger your body's natural healing process. This stimulates collagen production, which plumps and strengthens the skin.

XERF

what is it?

XERF™ Painless Skin Tightening - Experience the future of non-surgical lifting. XERF™ is a state-of-the-art monopolar radiofrequency (RF) treatment designed to restore skin elasticity and redefine facial contours.

Unlike traditional treatments that rely on intense heat or physical micro-needles, XERF utilizes an advanced dual-frequency system (6.78 MHz and 2 MHz) to simultaneously target the superficial dermis and the deeper structural tissues. This triggers your body to build a dense, healthy network of collagen and elastin right where you need it most- without disrupting the skin's surface.

Equipped with a built-in cooling system, the treatment feels like a soothing, warm massage. No needles, no numbing cream, and absolute zero downtime. For optimal results, a baseline protocol of 2 sessions is required.

while you're here

Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed and prepped with a smooth conductive gel. The XERF™ handpiece glides gently across the treatment area, delivering deep monopolar radiofrequency energy to stimulate natural collagen and elastin production. Unlike traditional skin tightening treatments, XERF™ requires no numbing and is completely comfortable—most clients describe the sensation as a soothing, hot-stone facial massage. You’ll leave with a soft, warm glow and an immediate firming effect, with zero downtime needed.

  • It is recommended that hair-bearing areas within the treatment area are shaved about 1-2 days prior to treatment.

Post-treatment:

  • Mild redness and/or swelling may appear immediately following treatment and can persist for up to 1-3 days.

Picosure Pro

what is it?

PicoSure® Pro Laser Revitalization- Reveal a bright, even, and beautifully smooth complexion. The PicoSure® Pro is for clearing stubborn dark spots, sun damage, and melasma, while simultaneously reducing pore size and softening fine lines.

While traditional lasers rely on intense heat to treat imperfections, the PicoSure Pro takes a completely different approach. It delivers ultra-fast pulses of light to create a gentle "pressure" wave instead. This revolutionary technology shatters unwanted pigment into microscopic dust that your body naturally sweeps away, all while signaling your skin to build fresh, structural collagen from the inside out.

Because it replaces heat with cold pressure, it is exceptionally safe for all skin tones (from very fair to deeply pigmented), requires zero recovery downtime, and feels like nothing more than a light, warm prickling sensation. You will walk out of your session with a healthy, temporary flush that fades in just a few hours.

FDA-Cleared for Melasma

Melasma is notoriously difficult to treat because heat can easily trigger further pigment flare-ups. Because PicoSure Pro is a cold-energy laser, it is the only picosecond device FDA-cleared to safely and effectively treat melasma pigment across all skin types—from very fair to deeply pigmented skin.

while you're here

Your face will be thoroughly cleansed and prepped, and protective eyewear will be placed over your eyes. Using ultra-short picosecond laser pulses, PicoSure® Pro targets unwanted pigment, sun spots, and uneven texture without heating surrounding tissue. You may feel a quick, light snapping sensation against the skin, accompanied by continuous cooling air to keep you completely comfortable. Post-treatment, your skin may appear slightly pink—similar to a gentle flush—which typically subsides within a few hours, allowing you to return straight to your day.

pre & post care

Pre-treatment:

  • No sun exposure, tanning beds and sunless tanning cream for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Sun exposure decreases the effectiveness of the laser treatment and can increase the chance of post treatment complications.
  • Use a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Apply to the treated area every 2 hours when exposed to the sun and it is recommended to make this a part of your skin care routine.
  • Remove all makeup, creams or oils prior to treatment.
  • Inform your provider if you have ever had cosmetic tattoos or cosmetic pigmentation or permanent makeup applied near the area of treatment

Post-treatment (general):

  • Cleanse the treated area at least daily with water and mild soap, and then pat the area dry.
  • Do not rub or scratch the treated area. If crusting/scabbing occurs, do not shave or pick area. Apply Aquaphor ointment (tattoo) or other moisturizer (face) to the area 2-3 times a day. Keep the area moist, and let the crusting/scabbing resolve on its own.
  • If you are prone to breakouts or have oily skin, consider waiting 24 hours before applying any topical products
  • Cool compresses or cold gel packs may be used for comfort and/or an over the counter pain reliever, such as acetaminophen.
  • Avoid contact sports or any other activity that could cause injury of the treated area.
  • Avoid swimming, soaking or using hot tubs/whirlpools until the skin heals.
  • Contact your provider if there is any indication of infection (redness, tenderness or pus).

Post-treatment (tattoo):

  • After cleansing and while skin is still moist, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor® ointment to the treated tattoo.
  • Apply a non-stick pad over the tattoo until it is healed.
  • Avoid sun exposure to the treated area. Use a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Apply to the treated area every 2 hours when exposed to the sun and it is recommended to make this a part of your skin care routine.
  • Clean the area daily with mild soap and water and pat dry.
  • Do not shave the treated area if crusting is evident.
  • Avoid sun exposure between treatments. If sun exposure is unavoidable, apply SPF 30+ to protect exposed, treated areas.
  • Apply moisturizers for sensitive skin as needed
